Step | Description |

1 | Sit with your legs stretched out in front of you on the mat, then bend your knees and place your left ankle above your right knee. |
2 | Slide your right shin under your left so your right ankle is below your left knee, stacking your shins like fire logs. |
3 | Ensure that each foot extends past the opposite knee to form a square shape with your legs. |
4 | Sit up tall, lengthening the spine, and if comfortable, hinge forward from the hips for a deeper stretch. |
