Steps to Complete the Pose:

2Slide your right shin under your left so your right ankle is below your left knee, stacking your shins like fire logs.
3Ensure that each foot extends past the opposite knee to form a square shape with your legs.
4Sit up tall, lengthening the spine, and if comfortable, hinge forward from the hips for a deeper stretch.
5Hold for 1-2 minutes, then gently release and switch the cross of your legs.

Contraindications: Avoid this pose if you have severe knee or ankle injuries. Those with tight hips should approach this pose with caution.
